What data does RibiPeople read from Deel Local Payroll?
Employee number, name, email, birthday, and profile photo from their biographical records — that's it. Access is read-only; RibiPeople cannot edit or write anything back to your Deel Local Payroll account.
How often does the sync run?
Nightly. New hires, updated details, and terminations from Deel Local Payroll are reflected in RibiPeople the next morning.
What happens when someone leaves the company?
If Deel Local Payroll no longer returns them in a sync, their record is marked inactive in RibiPeople automatically. Nothing is deleted, so any past reward history for that person is kept intact — they just stop appearing in future calendar suggestions.
Do we need our own IT team to set this up?
No. It's a short connect flow, done by whoever administers your Deel Local Payroll account, in a couple of minutes.
Can we send more than birthdays and anniversaries once connected?
Yes — anything you can send today (milestones, bonuses, welcome gifts) still works exactly the same. The connection just removes manual entry for the recurring, date-based sends.
