Connecting Deel Local Payroll to RibiPeople, in detail
The whole connection takes a couple of minutes and is done by whoever administers your Deel Local Payroll account. Read-only access, encrypted credentials, nothing written back to payroll.
Create an API credential in Deel Local Payroll
In Deel Local Payroll, go to Config → Basic Settings → General Company → Integrations → API Credentials, and create a new credential. Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret immediately — Deel Local Payroll only shows the secret once.
Connect it in RibiPeople
In RibiPeople, go to Settings → Integrations → Deel Local Payroll, and paste in the Client ID and Client Secret. If your Deel Local Payroll account spans more than one company, you'll be asked to pick which one to sync before continuing.
Let the first sync run
RibiPeople pulls employee number, name, email, birthday and photo from Deel Local Payroll's biographical records. This runs immediately after connecting, then automatically every night after that. You'll see your synced employee count and the next few upcoming birthdays and anniversaries as soon as it finishes.
Fund your wallet and start sending
Top up your RibiPeople wallet once. From then on, every birthday and work anniversary on your calendar shows a send-reward action with that person already selected — no manual entry, ever again.
